Comics
What is on this page? Magic. OK, maybe not magic but you get to see all these cool comics! Remember you can vote for what comic you want to see next week over on the right. Do it! DO IT NOW! I BESEECH YOU!
Suburban Life Comics are quieter, larger slices of life living in the suburbs. Sure, all the cool kids can do comics about hanging out with friends in the city and seeing music showsand talking about things, but not me! Check out some otherSuburban Life Comics I made after yet more extensive research into the subject, this time including mortgages, lawn tips, street signs, and random beeping!
Billy Unique hates what you hate, and that’s what makes him so unique! At least, that’s what he tells everyone ad nauseum as he tried to fit in with the other people who hate everything, but for some reason they hate him. You damn kids and your social groups pffft.
White Teenagers With Problems is the world’s most popular teen drama on television! You know, the one with the misunderstood teenagers that have unique issues and insights into modern life! There’s a hot girl, a hot guy, a couple of sidekick characters and some obstacles that prevent them from getting what they want. WOW! They proved so popular with the youth demographic that they returned for a dramatic second season. Then the actors got famous and got movie deals and demanded more money to return for the third, cameo-filled season. After that, the show got extended for another season by getting rid of half the cast and introducing characters nobody likes. There was a lot of network pressure to keep it around for a fifth season just so they could sell it as a syndication package. Then, due to it becoming some sort of retro kitsch thing, the six series became a crazy ratings hit. By the time the seventh series rolled around everyone hated each other but stayed for the money. With the eighth season, the producers tried to market it as a fresh, dynamic, hip, back to the roots reboot. Did it work?
Medical Drama Comic is about a grizzled doctor that bends the rules to get results. I think that would make an excellent television show. Just look at thecrazy adventures he gets up to in series 2!
Sell Out Week is where I do my darnedest to make a comic that earns me a million billion dollars. The results so far have been inadequate to say the least. I think I ended up owing some people money. Anyway, that’s not your problem, which is why it was voted back for another week of selling out glory.
Game Development Secrets is a fascinating look behind the magic curtain of video game development. I leave no stone unturned in my continual quest to reveal the harsh truth about life in a video game development company! As a special bonus I did another week’s worth of Game Development Secrets for the magical extravaganza known as E3! This was quickly followed by another week of amazing secret-revealing game industry comics.
Daily Etiquette is a bunch of comics about etiquette. Uh that’s pretty much all there is to say about it. Uh, OK, moving on.
Unwritten Man Rules is a fountain of knowledge for anyone who wants to be, or used to be, a man. Being a man is cool you get to pee standing up. Here are Unwritten Man Rules 6 to 10. A few weeks later I made Unwritten Man Rules 11 to 15 because youvoted for it. Guess what else you voted for? That’s right, Unwritten Man Rules number 16 to 20. It’s turning into a bit of a collection! See, it got brought back for a double-sized Unwritten Man Rules 21 to 30. Later, the prophecies foretold of another double sized back of Unwritten Man Rules 31-40.
Webcomics Advice is for people who want to make webcomics, and if they already do make webcomics, how to make their webcomics evenwebcomicier! Take it from me because I obviously have all the answers! If you remain unconvinced I have another week’s worth of quality advice. Still want more? Oh Lord, I got a million of ‘em.
Fake Gazunta Stories is the spiritual but not contractual spin-off of True Gazunta Stories. It’s the same stick figure version of me but the stories end up, shall we say, diverging from the truth somewhat. Watch me be famous, talented and socially capable here! I guess a comfortable lie is better than the hard truth because Fake Gazunta Stories returned for a second week of, um, fakier stories., followed immediately by a third week week of Gazunta Stories that were so fake I got arrested for fraud. I also did a week of Fake Gazunta Stories while I was in America - one of them turned out true! That was followed by the week of Fake Gazunta Stories where I talked about video games more.
On This Day In History is…um…about an event that happened on that particular day in history. Another week’s worth of interesting historical tidbits are here! And thenyou crazy people voted for another week of historical hilarity. The history can’t be stopped, because it returned for a fourth week of comics about…rubber bands? It sounds just as historically accurate as a week about Galileo Galilei and the great Chicago Flood.
Hive FM is about your favorite local breakfast radio crew. Want to know what happens behind the scenes with the older straight guy, slightly overweight wacky guy and hot tomboy girl? Well, obviously some of you do because it returned for another week. And then another week! Wow, you must like this one I lot - I know I do. So much so that it’s been brought back for a record-beating fourth week! Wowie! And then a fifth exploring their adventures to space! Afterwards, I did a story about them finding out who chooses what to play on air. Next up is another week of Hive FM comics where they explored the issue of hoverboards and more importantly why don’t we have hoverboards yet.
Valentine’s Week is a week of comics dedicated to (you guessed it) Valentine’s Day. Comics about Valentine’s Day! Well, ain’t that a sight. Yep, it’s jokes about love and manufactured soppiness wrapped up in a healthy bran bread of using other people’s characters. Well that’s about all I have to say about this. Moving on!
Law & Order Petty Crime Squad was an unsuccessful television show pitch. NBC rejected it on the grounds that I never sent it to them. Still, it didn’t stop it returning for another season! Just like the real Law & Order it refuses to die and so a third mysterious case was developed.
Videogame Design Flowcharts are real. I work as a video game designer during the day and have these up on the wall. Soon you’ll be seeing why I was glad to draw a second batch of them.
Crap Bus Driver is someone I don’t have to deal with any more now that I drive myself to work. Thank God, I hated this guy. You don’t, it seems, because you voted for his return trip.
Crap Comic Characters is a work of PARODY alright so PLEASE DON’T SUE ME KINGS FEATURES SYNDICATE.
Twitter Week are stories suggested by my Twitter followers. Aww! I guess the Twitterati liked it because it was returned (or I guess retweeted) for a second week. Um, and a third sort of week was done. The less said the better.
Self Pity Week highlights people who just feel sorry for themselves. I never feel sorry for myself because I am radical and gnarly. Michaelangelo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles told me so. I guess self pity is a popular theme with you KIDS today because you demanded I make some more Self Pity comics.
Sorry! is a collection of images placed sequentially together with word balloons. I don’t know if I can say more than that. I have no idea why you people voted for its return for a second week. It’s a terrible idea for a strip!
Jiminy Fineshoes is the world’s most popular comical strip in the newspapers from 1910. Watch his hilarious adventures that always revolve around his choice of footwear! (I was reading a lot of turn of the century comic strips at the time…)
True Gazunta Stories are factual stories about me! Except in this comic I’m a stick figure with a big head. In real life I’m a big fat guy with a big head. Also, in real life I drew another week’s worth of True Gazunta Stories! Later, as it turns out, I did another week. This was followed by yet another, based on your votes, so don’t bitch at me for doing another week’s worth of me as a stick figure.
Office Drama Comic started off as my attempt to do a comic set in a law firm. It kind of got derailed by the second strip. Oops! I guess people love the combination of office and drama, because you voted for its triumphant return!
Passive Aggressive Man is a crappy super hero to be honest. He would punch you, but only if you didn’t notice. He did appreciate you voting for his return, though! And then he felt somewhat uncomfortable with his second return.
Creepy Pedo Story is a all-too-true tale of what happened to me one time in the shopping mall. It’s funny, honest!
How I Would Have Ended… was where I re-wrote the endings of several movies. Go on, it’s OK to admit you cried at the end of Iron Giant! The strip made its triumphant return with comics about Akira, The Dark Knight and other movies I didn’t like the endings of.
Bob was a spin-off of Medical Drama Comic. He’s a guy that we saw in the hospital waiting room and he was completely nuts. Yay let’s make fun of the intellectually handicapped! Well I guess it worked because you voted for its return!
Generic Gaming Comic is a comic about video games, because that’s never been done before! This is what we call intentional irony! Later I did Generic Gaming Comic Again.
Plant-Man + Flowerin’ are the stars of my other awesome webcomic. They helped out around here for a week. They are the world’s most chocolate milk-loving super heroes.
Anonymous is a collection of different “Anonymous” support groups. I wonder if there’s a “Anonymous Support Group Haters Anonymous”?
Convention Stories I went to a convention. This is what happened.
Making Webcomics is the real behind the scenes look on how webcomics - just like this one - are made! Golly gosh wow!
Failed Ideas is ironic because these comics turned out pretty well. Anyway, it’s failed ideas for websites, movies, TV shows etc etc.
Blind Man and Smelly Guy is my favourite crime-fighting duo in comic form. OK that’s not true, I like Plant-Man + Flowerin’ better, but hey.
Lights Out Comics is the best thing I thought of when I ran out of time to do the art that week. Bad Cameron, bad!
Bad Movie Sequel Ideas shouldn’t have gone online because you just know someone at Fox will read it and use it for the next Ben Stiller epic.
Misplaced Anger Week is a week-long strip about a guy who gets cut off in traffic one day and…exacts his revenge.
You Can Get Away With Anything was the first webcomic I got hate mail for! Hoorah for that, it’s another milestone I can tick off.
Jim’s Adventures In Internet World asks the question: “What if you lived in a world that behaves like life does on the internet?” - seek the answer if you dare.
Random Comic Week was the week where I kind of ran out of ideas. This was before I came up with the genius idea of getting you to vote for it.
Hanging Off The Edge Of A Cliff is the epic story of a woman hanging off the edge of a cliff. It’s not a Carrie Fischer style metaphor, she just hangs off the edge of a cliff.
Henry The Sexually Perverted Chocolate Bar is full of nuts. Imagine those kind of people who buy those girls in underwear magazines as a chocolate bar.
Celebrity Week is where I ham-handedly put celebrities into my comics for a week in a blatant attempt to get those celebrities to link to me. The shock was that it actually worked.
Ben Stiller’s Awkward Situations should be the next Ben Stiller movie. Oh he gets into awkward situations. That’s hilarious apparently according to everyone who sees his movies.
Do You Want To Buy A Car? Is…um…yeah. A guy tries to sell a car to different results. BUYER BEWARE.
Terry The Crappy Terrorist was a comic that I thought of on a plane trip. Pro tip: don’t do these kinds of comics on a plane trip.
My Web Comic is the worst web comic ever made. I’m not being cute or whatever, it really is horrible. I tried to put every bad web comic cliche here.
Wholesome Family are so wonderfully wholesome that it just makes you want to smile and hug a complete stranger before asking them over for dinner and learning about their life story that somehow relates to your problems.
Annoyed Vicar hates you. It’s nothing personal, he just hates your stupid guts, you jerk.
Sitcom Woman is the star of her own sitcom. Watch her deal with wacky sitcom situations!
