This one’s been suggested to me a couple of times, so I’m glad to have finally cracked this little nut. Poor little Horace, he was Australia’s first video game mascot, and who knows where the hell he is now? Hopefully skiing all day living off all the massive royalties everyone makes in video game developHAHAHAH sorry I couldn’t even finish that one without laughing.

This was a request from the Retro Gamer forums, and I’m also taking suggestions on the YakYak forums, which I mention because I just wanted to say how awesome Minotaur Rescue is. It’s pretty much the greatest shooter I’ve played in the last ten years.
Oh yeah Sonic Blast Man is kind of stupid but I did like that arcade game he was in where you punched people and bruises appeared, that was kind of neat.
Never really played this one, it was always more of a Spectrum thing than a Commodore 64 thing, and the Commodore 64 is better. Nyah nyah, Spec-heads!
Suggested by Fappenmeister, with additional suggestion by @Bonbu. Thanks guys! I was fun making me remember how much I secretly love Xanadu. Seriously it’s all sorts of a messed up movie. Get your copy from your local landfill today!
This game was so far ahead of it’s time that it’s amazing the technological cavemen of the time knew what to make of it. A huge 3D sandbox world, multiple vehicles, 32 different player characters each with unique abilities, a proceduraly generated campaign that reacts to how you do…such a clever little gem.
I’ll be buggered if I’m going out in that blizzard though.
Well, he DID say he was a murderer and a thief even before you put your first coin in the machine.
Thanks to Adam on the YakYak forums for the suggestion!
The tragedy is that it’s a monster of their own making. Be warned kids, always recycle.
I recycle the same five jokes over and over again and look how happy I am
This was a cracker of a game and no mistake about it. So cute, too.
But damn that level when you were inside Peter Jackson’s stomach was a bit too much if you ask me.
Also, this comic took 6 and a half hours to do all up, that’s just stupid. Tomorrow I’ll do Space Invaders or something simple.
When doing one of these ‘mashup’ comics, the naming rights go to the game that appeared on the Commodore 64.
Yay for the Commodore 64! It really is lovely.
Thanks to Rass from AusGAF for the suggestion! Poor little guy from Trog, he didn’t think Avatar was that good either.
